A port of version 4.0 (or up) will appear here some time in the future.
(I hope to finish this before the end of August 2005, time permitting.)
This is a 32 bits release.
20050411: Bugfix release, fixed a floating point problem in the 32bits release that did not manifest itself in the 26bits version.
GnuPlot is a command-line driven interactive function, graph and data plotting program. It can generate 2D and 3D plots of almost any function or set of data. It can generate output in many formats like PostScript, gif, HP-PCL (Deskjet and laserjet compatible printers), Epson (most dot matrix printers), LATEX and a lot more. And with this port it can do so in RISC OS drawfile and sprite format too.
Download GnuPlot 3.71 (32 bits)
Windows users can download a version of GnuPlot for
Win32 (Windows 9x, NT 4, ME,
2000, 2003 and XP) with drawfile and sprite support
here.
Note: this was compiled with MinGW and
requires the mscvrt.dll. This .dll is supplied
with windows 95 OSR2 and all newer versions
and with most MS software as well so even most users of
win 95 early editions may already have it. If not, it can be
downloaded
here.
(Note that files on the microsoft site have a tendency to move around,
you may have to search for it, or use the reference to it from
the mingw site.)
Unix/Linux (and almost all other platforms) users will have to re-compile it themselves. Get the full distribution from http://gnuplot.sourceforge.net/. Then download the changed source files to compile a version of GnuPlot with support for draw- and sprite files here.
The 26 bits version can still be found here: old gnuplot 3.7.1, 26 bits, and its source here.
