This site will feature articles, code snippets, sound clips and interesting news items about audio signal processing with a strong emphasis on sound synthesis for music synthesizers and demoscene productions.
Of all the types of demo, the 64K demo offers the best setting for audio signal processing. The size limitation makes the inclusion of samples almost impossible. Most 64K productions play music using a small software synthesizer. The synthesizer used is often a version of KB’s Viruz II. This is a very nice softsynth but the demos using it sound rather alike. I started this site in the hope of encouraging people to make their own softsynths for their demos.
