Tim is now 12 years old and after 8 years at the Parelschool, is currently enrolled at the Bredero College. Recently he made his debut as an operetta singer. Tim loves swimming, water polo, baseball, soccer, running and other sports. In the little time left over, Tim enjoys other activities. Tim would love to receive a message from visitors to this page.

Birthday

Tim turned 12 on August 22nd. His big day was celebrated with a brand new bicycle.

Parelschool

After 8 years Tim has left the Parelschool - with the highest Cito-score (general knowledge high school placement test) of his class - to go to high school.

The annual sports outing was one of his final activities with his old classmates.

Bredero College

Tim is now in his first year of high school at the Bredero College. This means a lot of new experiences (like doing homework every day).

Operetta

Recently, Tim played the part of Pepino, apprentice to the macaroni chef, Pappacoda, in the operetta "Eine Nacht in Venedig" by Johan Strauss.

Swimming

Tim's been swimming with "Het Y" swim club since he was 4. Since then, he's completed the requirements and received his A, B & C diplomas and his "zwemvaardigheid I, II & III". This season he started swimming competitively, and is getting faster by the week. Take a look at his personal bests.

During the 100x100 event in December 2005 Tim swam 6,5 km in one go.

Water polo

After a good first half of the season Tim's team has advanced from local level to regional level. With het Y cj1-team, he now plays at the highest level for this age group (<14 years). Always looking for an angle, Tim decided to talk strategy (or dirty tricks) with record-setting international, Ton Buunk - first conclusion: GROW... a LOT. After the winter break, and January's training camp, Tim will be doing his best to make the district team of Amsterdam/het Gooi. Baseball

Tim plays baseball since 2004, last season with the C1 team o the Woodpeckers (youth of the Volewijckers). You can find scores from recent games on uitslagen en standen.

Without a coach, the Amsterdam regional Little League team didn't make a return trip to the Dutch national championships, this year. However, the team did make a good showing - starting off the year with an international tournament in Antwerp.

To improve his hitting and fielding, Tim visited a KNBSB-summer baseball camp, where he received instruction (and autographs) of some of the players of the Dutch national team.

Soccer

Last year, Tim defended the Parelschool goal. This year as well, he's found his place on the Brederocollege b1b team as goalie. He made quite an impression through to the finals - surviving a penalty shoot-out - and happy to receive enthusiastic reactions from his female fans.

Running

Tim's first experience in running was the Amsterdam Marathon. Fortunately there was a 1 KM run for beginners.
