Chakras
Chakras are energy centers, located on the center line of the body. There are seven main chakras. The chakra theory originates from the Indian and Tibetan mythology. Chakras are not visible to the naked eye. The chakras can be seen as interconnected energy centers, through which the cosmic energy flows into our body. Each chakra has an individual energy, but is also connected with the other chakras. In a healthy person all chakras are open. The energy flows from the root chakra to the higher chakras. When a chakra becomes blocked by physical or psychological tension, the flow of energy becomes disrupted. The consequence is that the other chakras will give too little energy to the body. When one or more chakras are out of balance organic disorders and diseases can develop. The universal light energy passes the seven chakras and enters the body. The light is divided into seven colours,
the colours of the rainbow. Each colour corresponds to a particular chakra and transfers a colour vibration. The chakras also absorb the colour vibrations of gemstones. A chakra can be activated by placing a stone with the right vibration frequency.
