Various historians have so far benefited from my research on the Netherlands field army, when I handed them various documents, accounts and
other material to write and complete their own studies.
1. In 2008 Andre Dellevoet published his "The Dutch-Belgian cavalry at Waterloo".
I contributed a substantial numbers of eye-witness accounts from Netherlands cavalry officers, who fought both at Quatre Bras and Waterloo.
2. In 2009 Mike Robinson published his "The battle of Quatre Bras, 1815".
I contributed various eye witness accounts and after action reports from Netherlands officers and soldiers from the infantry, cavalry and artillery,
who fought in the Battle of Quatre Bras.
3. In 2009 Bernard Coppens published his "Les mensonges de Waterloo".
I contributed information on the mission of General Bernard on Napoleon's staff to reconnoiter the right flank of the French
army during the Battle of Waterloo, where von Bulow's Prussian troops arrived.
Unfortunately my name was incorrectly spelled on page 239 as 'Erwin Muyldijk'.
4. In 2010 1815 Limited published its first book in a series of correspondence volumes on soldiers who participated in the 1815 campaign , entitled "Netherlands
correspondence" (Volume One).
Mr. Franklin merely acted as editor of the book and translated various accounts written in French, while I and Pierre de Wit contributed by
translating a great number of the original accounts written in Dutch for this book.
5. In 2010 Martijn Wink wrote an article in the French magazine "Soldats Napoléoniens" No. 24, on the history and uniforms of the Frisian Volunteer Jager Company that
participated in the 1815 campaign.
I contributed an original list on uniform equipment and a diary from one of the volunteers.
6. In 2012 1815 Limited is due to publish the second volume on the "Netherlands Correspondence" with original accounts from printed sources.
I contributed by providing all of these accounts and translating those written in Dutch. Unfortunately this book has been postponed for more than one and a half
year.
7. Apart from numerous translations being made public through the printed Correspondence Series of 1815 Limited, I have provided its online archive with various other
original manuscript and printed original Netherlands sources made public through this website over the past three years since 2010.
It is therefore without any doubt, that I feel responsible for enlarging the 1815 historiography and enriching the complete history on the Napoleonic Wars with regards to the final
campaign of the 7th Colation of European states against Napoleon Bonaparte.
