Curaçao port:
The port of Curacao, located in the centre of the capitol Willemstad, just 5 minutes walking from downtown, offers an excellent place for mega yachts of all sizes to be accomodated.
Curacao, the capitol of the Caribbean is located off the main hurricane routes providing the gateway inthe Caribbean. Our port is all natural and well sheltered.

Curaçao:
Curaçao is located in the South Western Caribbean, at latitude 12° north andlongitude 68° west.
The island is just 44 miles (70 km) off the coast ofVenezuela, South America.
The size is about 180 square miles (444 km), 37miles long (61 km) and 3 miles (5 km) to 9 miles (14 km) wide
Climate:
Located in the tropics, Curaçao has a warm, sunny climate year round. Theaverage temperature is about 85°F (27°C). Cooling trade winds blow constantlyfrom the North East, picking up in the "spring" months.
The rainy season,October to March, is usually marked by short, occasional showers, mostly atnight and continued sunny weather by day. Occasionally, a tropical stormbrewing elsewhere in the Caribbean can cause uncharacteristically cloudyweather for a day or two.
The total annual rainfall is about 22 inches (57 cm).Curaçao lies outside the hurricane belt. TIME The time in Curaçao neverchanges.
The island is always on Atlantic Standard Time, the same time asEastern Daylight Savings Time. Thus, one hour later than US Eastern Standard time
Religion:
Curaçao has a well earned reputation for religious as well as ethnic harmony.Even though the island is Dutch, over 80% of the population is Roman Catholic.One Spanish legacy was their religion. Unlike Protestant European colonizerssuch as the Dutch, the Spaniards took an ardent concern for the souls of thepeople they conquered. Spanish priests continued to convert people in to theRoman Catholic religion on the island even after the Dutch took over. TheSpaniards converted all the slaves and their descendants to Catholicism. As aresult, about 80% of the current population is Catholic, largely people of Africandescent. Nowadays about 5% is Protestant, 3% is Jewish and the smallpercentage left, is made up of all the religions one can find all over the worldnowadays. Catholics, Protestants, Jews and Muslims all have their own housesof worship and practice their religion freely.
The flag:

The Curaçao flag was designed in 1984 and portrays the blue sea surroundingour island, blue sky over our island (blue color below and above the yellowstripe) and the sun rays constantly shining over our island (the yellow stripe).The two white stars in the upper left corner, are Curaçao and its uninhabitedsister island Klein (little) Curaçao; their five points symbolize the five continentsfrom which the varied local population originates and the white color representsthe peaceful religious- and ethnic harmony
