Gold Lion Frame
Things you need for this lesson:
I have used the Texturizer, you can use it if you have it.
More info at the site of Adobe.
1. Open an image of your choice. This is the one I used:
2. Take your freehand with the following settings:
3. Select a part of your image, something like this:
4. Ctrl + C (to copy)
5. Ctrl + V (to paste as new image)
6. Layers > new rasterlayer.
Layers > Arrange > Send to bottom.
7. Open a new image of 100 x 100.
Floodfill this image with #9F6236.
8. If you have the texturizer, use these settings.
Effects > Plugins > Texture > Texturizer:
9. Put your foreground on pattern, by clicking on the little arrow.
Search in the dropdownmenu for the pattern you have just made.
10. Activate the image with the new layer and
floodfill the added layer (layer2) with the pattern.
11. Layers > merge > merge all.
12. Put your backgroundcolour on: #EECD80.
13. Image > add borders: 5 symmetric.
14. Select with you magicwand the added border,
use the following settings of the magicwand:
15. Effects > plugins > Ulead Effects > Art Texture
click on Edit and pick palette-5 (Gold), click Ok.
Pick pattern samples 5-1.
16. Effects > 3D Effects > innerbevel with the following settings:
17. Selections > select none.
18. Image > add borders: 20 symmetric.
Select the added border with your magicwand.
19. Effects > texture effects > Blinds with the following settings:
20. Effects > Texture Effects > Mosaic Glass with the following settings:
21. Selections > select none.
22. Image > add borders: 5 symmetric.
23. Select the added border with your magicwand.
24. Repeat step 15.
25. Repeat step 16.
26. Selections > select none.
27. Image > add borders: 25 symmetric.
28. Repeat step 15.
29. Effects > Texture effects > Mosaic Glass with the following settings:
30. Effects > 3D effects > innerbevel with the following settings:
31. Selections > select none.
For the accent I have added here and there a golden pearl .
