Spiky Halo Frame

 

 

Open a picture of your choice.

I have chosen for artwork of Josephine Wall

please take a look at her site.

 

Set your foregroundcolor on #BDC0EB and 

your backgroundcolor on #5A68A7.

 

Image > add borders:

 

Change you foregroundcolor and backgroundcolor.

 

Image > add borders

10, symmetric

 

Change your foregroundcolor and backgroundcolor again.

 

Image > add borders

20, symmetric

 

Change your foregroundcolor and backgroundcolor again.

 

Image > Add borders.

20, symmetric.

 

Change your foregroundcolor and backgroundcolor again.

 

Image > add borders

25, symmetric.

 

This is what you should have now:

 

Select with you magicwand a dark colored border,

push your shift-button, keep it pushed  and then click in the

other dark colored borders.

 

Effects > Geometric effects > Spiky halo:

 

Effects > 3D effects > innerbevel:

 

Selections > select none.

 

Select with your magicwand a light colored border, 

push your shift-button, keep it pushed  and then click in the

other light colored border. They are now selected both.

 

Effects > noise > add:

 

Keep the selections.

 

Effects > 3D effects > dropshadow:

colorr: zwart.

 

Repeat the dropshadow with horizontal and vertical on -2.

 

Selections > select none.

 

For the corners I used a dingbat Design Dings and the small R.

You can use different dingbats, choose the nicest and play around with it.

 

Image > change size, in the size you want it to be.

 

 

With this one I used also the Dingbat Design Dings with the small letter M.
