I created this tutorial by using a scanned graphic.

PSP 8

I used the following colors:

For the outline I used color 1:

Select the body, head and paw.

Floodfill with color 2.

Selections > float.

Apply the next cutout:

Vertical: 0

Horizontal: 5

Opacity: 50

Blur: 25

Color: 3

Fill interior with color not checked.

Selections > select none.

Select the inside of the ears and

floodfill with color 3.

Selections > float.

Apply the same cutout as before,

but blur 10 and color 2.

Selections > select none.

Select the nose and the bottompads of the feet,

floodfill with color 4.

Selections > float.

Apply the next cutout:

Horizontal: 0

Vertical: 0

Opacity: 50

Blur: 5

Shadowcolor: color 5.

Fill interior with color not checked.

Selections > select none.

Your kitten is ready !!!!
