What do you need for this tutorial:
I made this tube of some great stickers from
Chevron Cars, take a look !!!
Don't forget to save often !!!
Open a new image 500x500 with a white background.
Copy and paste the tube as new layer.
Effects > plugins > dsb flux > blast, blast amount 100%.
Paste the tube again as new layer.
Give the car a dropshadow:
Horizontal and Vertical: 2, Opacity: 100, Blur: 5 and color: black.
Click on your layerpalette on the glasses from the backgroundlayer,
Click right on the other to layers and merge visible.
Click on the glasses of the backgroundlayer and it will appear again.
Make sure the Car1 layer is active.
Duplicte Car1 and
rename it Car2.
Duplicate the backgroundlayer and move it up under Car2.
Close Car1 and the backgroundlayer.
Merge Car2 and the copy backgroundlayer visible.
Do the same with Car1 and the backgroundlayer.
Rename the bottomlayer Car1 and the toplayer Car2.
Make sure layer Car2 is active and take your selection tool with circle and
feather 0. Go to the center of the back wheel and select the whole wheel.
When you have selected the wheel do Image > flip.
Do the same with the front wheel.
Select none.
A new layer.
Call this Text1.
Make sure your rulers are on in psp.
Go to your texttool and take a font of you choice.
I used !PEPSI!.ttf with size 72pt, floating.
The example below is for my name with four letters.
Place your first letter of you name in the image.
Give you text an innerbevel of your choice and a dropshadow like before.
Copy your text and press delete.
Paste your text under or infront of the front wheel, make sure
you watch the ruler on the left side where you place the text,
on this point you should place all the next text to keep it in one line.
If you have a very long name you could begin your text more to the right
from your front wheel.
Select none.
New rasterlayer Text2.
Take now the first two letters of you name and repeat your innerbevel and the dropshadow.
Place your text2 with the second letter on the first letter of text1.
Select none.
New rasterlayer Text3.
Now you take the first three letters of your name, innerbevel and dropshadow.
Place your text3 with the third letter on the first letter of text1.
Select none.
New rasterlayer Text4.
Now you take the first four letters of your name, innerbevel and dropshadow.
Place your text4 with the fourth letter on the first letter of text1.
When I have done my hole name I see this in my layerpalette.
This is my view of what I have with four letters in my name.
Now we go further with the complete name to move this to the left.
New rasterlayer Text5.
Paste your full name and place the last letter on the letter before the last letter of your name.
Take for every move a new rasterlayer.
Now we are going to move the full name futher to the left.
In the next move I have to leave my first letter off already and I get this....
Select none.
Now I have to leave my first to letters off and I get this ....
Select none.
Now I have only my last letter of my name to place on it.
We are going to
duplicate the layers in the layerpalette.
Put your layerpalette on hold so it will not close when you are
duplicating and moving your layers.
Move Car2 under text2.
Duplicate Car1 and move it under text3.
Duplicate Car2 and move it under text4.
Repeat this with every layer until all textlayers have car1 or car2 below them.
When you have done this you will see as much textlayers as Carlayers.
Close all layers with the glasses without the top two layers.
Klik on one of the open layers and merge visible.
Close the merge layer with the glasses.
Repeat this with taking each next 2 layers.
When you have done this you will have all merged layers,
this amount will be different with every name.
Take your cut tool and remove the excess white background.
Make sure that the layer with you fullname is active so you will not
cut off to much.
Save you image in psp-format.
Open animation shop.
Open the animation Wizard.
1 - Same size as the first image frame. Next.
2 - Transparent. Next.
3 - Upper left corner of the frame.
- With the precending frame's contents. Next.
4 - Yes, repeat the animation indefinitely.
- 25 as speed in 1/100th of a second. Next.
5 - Add your image. Next.
6. Finish.
Your tag is now to big as an animation, so you can resize it.
I gave my animation at the bottom a resize of 50%.
Save it !!!!
Your Toetoet Tag is ready !!!!
