What do you need for this tutorial:

PaintShopPro 7.04 (30 trailversion)

A pretty tube and font.

 

1. Open a new image 500 x 500 transparent.

 

2. Open the tube you are using and copy it.

Paste the copied tube as new layer in the new image.

 

3. Effects > Geometric effects > Wave:

Horizontal and Vertical Displacement:

Amplitude: 5

Wavelength: 5

 

4. Put in your layerpalette the opacity of layer 2 to 60%.

 

5. Copy and paste the tube as new selection in your new image,

move it a bit to the left.

 

6. Effects > 3D effects > dropshadow:

Color: Black

Horizontal and vertical: 0

Opacity: 100

Blur: 10

 

Selections > select none.

 

7. Go to your text tool.

Choose a pretty font and 

put your foregroundcolor and backgroundcolor on the same color.

 

8. Image > rotate:

90 degrees to the right.

 

9. Effects > 3D effects > innerbevel:

 

10. Effects > 3D effects > dropshadow:

Color: Black

Horizontal and vertical: 2

Opacity: 100

Blur: 5

 

11. Layers > merge > merge all visible layers.

 

12. Ctrl + C (copy)

Ctrl + V (paste as new image)

 

13. Change the format of you image if you like that,

but don't forget to sharpen if you do resize !!!
