What you need for this tutorial::

PaintShopPro 7.04 (30 probeerversie)

Montage Menagerie

 

1. Open a new image of 500x500 transperant.

 

2. Open de tube and resize is 75%.

 

3. Take you selection tool rounded rectangle.

feather 0 and anti alias checked.

Put your foreground color on white and

your backgroudncolor on #65518D.

Draw a rectangle from 100,100 to 400,400.

Fill this selection with your background color.

Selections > select none.

 

4. Effects > Texture effects > weave:

 

5. Select with your magicwand a white square.

Selections > modify > select all with the same color.

Push your delete button, you will see the white square disappear.

Selections > select none.

 

6. Effects > Geometric effects > twirl:

 

7. Add a new layer.

Take your selection tool with the settings from before.

Select al long bar below your background.

Fill this with your background color.

 

8. Give your bar a innerbevel:

 

9. Give your bar a dropshadow:

 

Selections > select none.

 

10. Make sure your bottom layer is active in the layerpallete.

Copy the tube and past it as new layer.

Move the tube to the right side of the bar.

Give the tube the same dropshadow as before.

Layers > merge > merge all layers visible.

 

11. Effects > Ilumination Effects > Sun:

 

12. Take a font of your choice, I used AquaticHeavy.ttf.

Use your own setting for your font, my name is made with size 72pt.

Floating and anti alias checked.

 

13. Image > rotate > left, 90.

Use the same innerbevel and dropshadow as before.

Move your name to a place you like it !!!

Selections > select none.

 

14. You can resize if you want to and export is as JPEG.
