And you know what, another reason, because it is fun, it is so much fun fucking with people who are enslaved into a belief. They are stuck in so many ideas, what's right, what's wrong, what's good, what's bad, you shouldn't do that, you should look like this, god, don't you get tired. Let's have some fun in this world and wake up people...(Quote from 5'42 - 6'02")
How do you think that murder, rape, violence, abuse and shit manifests? Because of us demons to have you people realize that you are already all that exists and that a god doesn't exist. (Quote from 7'15" - 7'33")
Anton Lavey 4 as Demon, Desteni Group
INTRODUCTION
During the early days (until the beginning of September 2007) of the video-phase of the Desteni group there was a time when the 'crucifixion' of the mind was not yet a central theme in their messages. I was able to resonate quite well with their ideas about the enslavement of humanity through the use of all kinds of distorted beliefs. Somewhere along the line they decided to rule out the possibility that there are perhaps two kinds of mind-modes: one distorted mode and a 'healthy' mode. They simply decided to cut out the mind from humanity altogether as a path towards 'unity'. In order to create 'heaven on Earth' thoughts were to be regarded as distorted by definition. The only way out was to not think at all (and not have any feelings either (see No Disdain for Emotions)).
This was the breaking point between the Desteni group and me. This, however, doesn't mean that they did not bring out interesting perspectives during the early phase, nor does it necessarily mean that the 'kill-the-mind-dogma' pollutes all messages that have been brought forth since this early phase. What I would like to reflect upon at this page is the way that demons - or personality entities in SSOA-terminology - seem to interact with us. What to think about this and how to deal with them?
DEMONIC LOGIC
I used to dislike the term 'demons', but since the Desteni-experience I started to like the term better. Not that I like demons, but the word isn't as badly charged as it used to be. The SSOA-term for beings that would prefer to create 'mind-fucks' in people is 'personality entities' (besides all the other influences trying to manipulate people), which sounds more neutral. What is my take on these demons? I tend to agree with an Osho-message from February 2007 which was brought through by the Desteni Group:
This is just fine and if indeed the deconstruction of heaven took, or is taking, place that would mean that the assistance from our ancestors would only have increased immensely. They would now be 'forced' to hang out with us in the physical planes, contributing either their wisdom or their distorted reality perceptions to our lives.
The difference between this kind of ancestors and the demonic kind is that the latter are more likely to go to the extremes, not seeing any problem when driving people into all kinds of terrible behavior. Even though it would be the extreme end-result of certain limited views of realities that people may hold, I wonder if this is the best way for people to learn.
This demonic logic would make sense if people had consciously chosen to have certain mind-limiting beliefs in their system. Then they could be held completely responsible, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Many of us never opted to hold on to a certain limiting belief-system. It was often given to us by our parents, our friends, our society. Is it really making things better if you keep on exploiting people's limiting mind-systems? Aren't you really contributing to the continuation of these belief-systems by repeating the same old tricks again and again?
THERE IS NO GOD-CONCEPT
The demons seem to hold no believe in anything beyond their dimension. This is a concept that was taken over by the Desteni group themselves as well. If you believe that there is nothing beyond your own world then it is likely that you just keep on fooling around in the world that you know. If demons would open up to the possibility that even though there might not be a god like the biblical one, there might be some kind of creator that has created them, they might be prodded in the direction of self-reflection and find out ways to restore their awareness of the greater scheme of things. Perhaps they are not on top of the world.
RECOGNIZING DEMONIC ACTIVITY
Although it might be hard to recognize demonic activity, you could suspect such intrusions when you notice that certain unpleasant thoughts are expanding to take on huge sizes. They are almost overwhelming you. Another possible way to recognize possible demon activity is when you notice that you are suddenly thinking rather differently than you normally do, and the thoughts you tune into aren't really pleasant.
Although there are probably dozens of other reasons why you can get into a certain mode of thinking, one of them could be demonic activity. If you notice it, you could use the old-SSOA-technique, namely to intend them out of your field. Simply send them away. It would however be a wise thing to consider the possibility that certain demons are attracted to your field because you harbor certain belief systems which they like to exploit.
If you are able to recognize such a belief system in yourself, you might want to try and bend that belief system in a less harmful variant. If you succeed in doing that you really use these demons to remove distorted elements out of your 'system' and eventually they will have nothing to latch on to anymore.
See you,
