MEMES AND THOUGHT FORMS
A few months ago I started reading a new book by Vincent Casspriano, Jr. called 'The Simplest Path to Personal and Planetary Awakening: Free Your Mind'. You can read the complete book on-line to preview it at The Simplest Path. I didn't finish the book yet, but it already presents enough interesting thoughts that add to the process that I am going through.
It mentions the concept of 'memes' (pronounced like 'genes' or [mi:mz] in phonetic language) which look a lot like the 'thought forms' that are mentioned in the ssoa material and on this site. The thought forms that would make up our current reality perspective (The Relativity of Realities) and possibly the reality after our death (Tuning into Astral Realities).
Memes are described as units of cultural information transferrable from one mind to another (see Wikipedia) and what is interesting for our exloration of the ascension phenomemon is that these 'memes' are considered to be like 'viruses' that occupy the mind and actually drain it of most of its energy. These memes would do all that they can to stay in their position within the reality perspective of a certain person and they would love to be 'copied' to other people, for it would provide the chance to spread and therefore increase the likelihood of 'survival'.
EXAMPLES
Last week I was contacted by a woman who talked about a time when she was truly scared about what would happen in the year 2012. Having read all kinds of metaphysical books she started to believe that in that particular year there would be a division between the 'good' and the 'bad' people. The good ones would ascend upwards to the fifth dimension and the bad guys would remain on the third floor. You could call this 'belief' a 'meme' or a thought form that became part of her reality perspective. This meme produced fear inside of her because she would wonder what would happen to her family: would they be on her side or not? What could she do to be sure? This aroused a lot of fear in her system. She tended to spread that meme by talking about it to certain others and it was hard for anyone to talk her out of this meme.
Vincent Casspriano, Jr mentions a few other examples like: "It is a good thing to fight and possibly give your life for your country", "It is a good thing to work at least 40 hours a week". You could add many more thought forms that make up the reality of many presently, like: "I love watching TV", "It is wrong to have sex with animals", "I need minerals in order to ascend my body", "It is OK to kill people when they are terrorists", "Jesus will save me if I do this or that", "It is a good thing to read newspapers", "I only have pleiadean ancestry: I don't belong on this planet", "Homosexuality is a disease", "It is wrong to eat animals", "Abortion is OK", "I need to leave my family behind in order to ascend", "I am worthless when I don't have a job", "I hate growing old", "It is wrong to make fun of my prophet" etc. etc...
MEMES AND THE ASCENDING BODY
In the second chapter of the Complete Ascension Workbook from the SSOA you can find a beautiful list of thought forms that could be used to see if you could transmute any of them. Much has been written in the articles on their site about various thought forms that would have been entered in our collective thought form pool by the Anu or thought forms that would resonate most deeply with the root races. See for example the almost ancient article by the Great Central Sun from 2001, called: A New Divine Plan for Earth and Humanity is Launched, which contains 18 Anu-related thought forms (or memes) that you could use to see how many of them are still part of your own reality system.
The idea to link the kind of thought forms in your mind to the quality of your physical body is not new. The SSoA speaks about the transmutation of harmful thoughtforms into more harmless thought forms as a means to ascend the biology. It talks about the unification of polarity thoughtform in order to ascend out of the influence of certain thought forms.
It is not strange, therefore, to assume that certain thought forms are 'healthy' for your body and certain thought forms are less healthy for your (ascending) body. It might be of the utmost importance to pay close attention to your own mental hygiene. But how to know which thoughts are healthy and which aren't?
THOUGHT FORM RATING SCALE
I would like to propose to anyone reading this page to ponder about the level of 'distortion' or 'electricity' that is attached to certain beliefs, thought forms, memes or whatever you would like to call the elements that make up one's reality. Would it be possible to produce a list of thoughts that are rated on a scale from 0 to 10, in which 0 stands for utterly harmless and 10 stands for the ultimate angular electrical thought form. It would be a nice exercise to write down a few of your thoughts and rate them this way.
If we could identify the thoughts that are beneficial for our health we might introduce them a bit more in our field and we might do away with those thoughts that we consider less beneficial for our health and we would automatically ascend our bodies as a result. Just look up the 'vibration' of a certain thought form in a 'thought form rating scale dictionary' to see whether you would want to integrate into your system or not.
If it were only that simple. I think that we would face a few problems before we could actually ascend in this fashion. First of all the thought forms or memes would try to defend their right to exist within your reality system. Your brain will make up all kinds of reasons to hold on to a certain thought form, no matter how unhealthy it may be for your overal mental health.
A second very important factor I see is that our genes could be considered as antenna that have learned to tune into certain thought frequencies. Genes that have learnt to do this for ages. It is not so easy to teach them to tune into another vibratory bands of thought.
And what about our ancestors? What to do with all our ancestors that have thought various kinds of harmful/electrical/twisted thoughts? How to bend all that into something more healthy?
Rating thought forms is one thing, but changing them is quite another thing.
So much for now,
Let me know what you think,
