INTRODUCTION
A while ago I was contacted by a former member of the SSoA-organisation and she wondered if Mila and Oa were ethically correct in the way that they deal with their students. I have spoken about this before on certain pages (see above) and I would like to expand on this by reflecting on the question if it is possible to create more karma through certain modes of ascending.
She wondered about the ethical aspects in the following words:
"What kind of karma is SSoA and/or Mila and Oa CREATING
(not clearing at all) by engaging in a practice that
entices-invites people into a cause they believe
deeply in (the love of The Tao and spirituality,
ascension, etc) and then these people are triggered to
raise in vibration to reveal karma between Mila's and
Oa's inheritances and the others- Mila and Oa help
eachother and still work with the present group to
clear (possiblly) clear their karma, but... the one
that is presently unable to clear their karma is kicked out to
face their karma alone."
HISTORY OF FALSE ASCENSIONS
In the article called Hooray, they are back (or not?) I describe the way Mila had uncovered the way Buddha would have ascended into the fourth dimension: through million manipulations and by using the people around him, even leading to the death of quite a few followers. We also know about the way Sirius ascended by dumping large amounts of chaos and karma on our planet.
Apparently there is a history of false ascensions, meaning that people rise in vibration through false methods, by either stealing from others, ignoring or dumping certain karmic themes on others or by 'sealing karma off' that is too complicated to handle. The question I would like to reflect upon is: would the SSoA be ascending in such a way as well, or are they ascending in an ethically correct way, releasing and clearing karma without actually creating more of it?
First of all one could wonder if I am in the position to say anything about the dynamics in the SSoA. I haven't been part of the group and indeed I haven't seen either Mila nor Oa in real life, even though I am quite into this concept of biological ascension, for almost five years now. I did meet quite a few people who were part of the various groups within the SSoA through the years.
I don't want to blame Karen or Tom for anything, because without them I wouldn't be where I am now. This doesn't mean that I am not allowed to pose a few questions. I still don't think they are consciously harmful in any way, but perhaps there is something unsound happening in their unconscious fields?
ETHICS AND GROUP ASCENSION
Immanual Kant (1724-1804), the philosopher wrote about ethics and he
...offered the "formula of the end in itself" as: "Act in such a way that you treat humanity, whether in your own person or in the person of another, always at the same time as an end and never simply as a means."
Kant, the Moral Order
Although some people think this part of Kant's ethics are too demanding (see John Lango's article) I do like the general idea behind it: always be very careful when you want to use other people mainly as a means to reach your own goals.
The complexity of the SSOA-organization and their 'use' of students lies mainly in the question whether Mila and Oa use their students to either raise their own vibration, or the vibration of humanity at large. What is their goal? Undoubtfully they would like to assist in the raising of the overall vibration of humanity on our planet, but practically they are mainly raising their own vibration.
Is it morally correct to ask other people to help you in raising your own vibration, and when the task is complete you ask those that helped you to leave? Not caring much about how you leave them behind, facing all kinds of karmically charged distorted thought-forms released during their 'speed-ascent'?
And how does it fit in with the need for the students to pay for it as well? It might appear that you not only use people as guinea pigs and karma-triggers (for your own ancestral clearing process) but instead of paying them you ask them to pay you! That sounds funny, doesn't it? And on top of that: you don't give any refunds when the karma is released at an early stage, which forces the student out of the group (perhaps only after two months whereas they have paid for a year of services).
It looks like speed-ascending people in order to release karmic issues and then leave the students behind, bleeding with open karmic wounds that are not part of the ancestral memories of the teachers and therefore not very useful.
Perhaps this sounds a bit too exaggerated. People do get support for their own ascension process, how to deal with issues, how to transcend certain thought-forms and how to recognize everything that is part of the process. They offer a great learning practice for all their students. Students do contribute to the clearing of karma at higher vibrational bands which is mainly expressed in a growth of the vibration of the directors. The higher vibration of the directors allows them to access certain information that could not be found in any other way. This information is shared amongst their students and probably through the articles on their site.
In that way they might contribute to the overall vibratory growth of humanity, since they make more information available.
CONCLUSION
The way the SSoA deals with their students remains a complicated issue. They seem to 'use' their students for their own vibratory growth, perhaps not unlike Buddha might have done in the past, but on the other hadn students are given the possibility to grow in vibratory rate and awareness as well. It seems likely that the relative growth of one particular student is bigger than the relative growth of the directors because of one student, which might explain the reason why students need to pay money to be part of this mutual ascending dance.
Because the SSoA prefers to look upwards, in the sense that they prefer to spend their time and energy on ways to clear more and more karma, raise their vibration more and more, instead of paying close attention to all those who cannot move along with the pace of the group, the result is that quite a few students are left behind with souring energetic wounds.
It would suit them well if they would create some kind of after-care for those people. But since they believe that interacting with people with low-vibratory karmic themes (mostly anu-related issues) can cause their own vibration to drop, they give these people the ascending boot in the most extreme variant. I do think that by leaving people behind like that you create new karma. Perhaps it becomes more clear if you turn the tables around. Imagine some higher being using Mila and Oa and a lot of other ascending people to learn something about itself. It stimulates them to speed up their ascent and as soon as the information is gathered they are left behind on their own, because they are no longer of any use. Would Mila and Oa find that behavior ethically correct?
The thing that I find most confusing is that somehow the SSoA seems to fear people with Anu-related themes and therefore remove them from their group, whereas they claim that they have overcome the karma with the Anu. These ideas don't seem to match: if everything with the Anu was truly released, you could not be harmed in any way, could you? Perhaps take a look at the Martian Test.
