One of my most impressive encounters in dreamtime occurred a couple of years ago. I walked down the stairs of my own house, while I realized this was a dreamtime experience. As I opened the door to the toilet I stood "face to face" with this creature. I recognized his kind- a non-physical energy vampire. I also knew that he was after my earth energy. He looked like a muddy colored upward spiraling vortex, with energy moving in what seemed to me a rather unorganized fashion around the spot where I mentally pictured some kind of head. There was no head, of course, no eyes, no ears, but we faced each other anyway. I was fully aware of the fact that this was a test.
This creature has a special technique to get what it wants. It knows how to unground you and disconnect you from your source. The moment that happens you cannot move physically, and then it immediately turns your vertical poles 90 degrees so that they become horizontal, or at least that's how it felt to me. Mentally and emotionally you are not paralyzed at all. As this creature was sucking the energy out of me, I knew that I would damage my energy system if I would resist. The idea was to remain calm and to let him have his way, for he could not kill me and would let me go afterwards.
When he had finished, he let go of me and disappeared into a desolate wilderness. Slowly my poles seemed to move back to their original position. I knew how to ground, reconnect to my source and replenish at once the earth energy I had just lost. I realized I had passed some kind of test.
When I woke up, my dreamtime-awareness and physical personality-awareness separated again, and I was indignant. How could I feel that I had done well? This was a thief, a robber, I had done nothing to defend myself, I had given him exactly what he wanted without the least resistance and felt good about it! Why would I do such a thing?
After this experience, the theme of the energy vampire became prevalent in my physical daily life awareness. It did not take me very long to realize that I gave my earth energy and creative energy away to both my husband and a friend. I saw them everywhere, all around me - people who gave their energy away, just like that, to those who simply took it. Now why would we do such a thing?
