Have you seen this car?

Iso Rivolta GT 1968

If you know this car or perhaps own it I would like to ask you to contact the former owner. He is looking for the car and curious about its current condition.

His name is Conrad and you can contact him by writing to his emailadress or by writing to me. Conrad : chess@haynerhoyt.com

A brief history of the car was, that Conrad bought it sometime around 1970-72 from a gentleman near New York City who purchased the car out of a dockside warehouse a couple of years before that from a dealer going out of business.

When Conrad bought the car it was in good shape but suffering from neglect after sitting in the warehouse for more than 2 years. Chrome was discolored and minor pitting, paint faded and pitted (all from the salt air & dirt near the docks), the most to suffer were the aluminium wheels, they were in real tough shape. He traded his 1968 Fiat Spyder plus $3000.00 for the car sight unseen and drove home with his Fiat plates & no insurance or registration.

Proceeded to restore the car himself. Luckily all it needed was a paint job (which he did himself & new rims which he finally bought new). The rest of the work was basically in the form of routine maintenance which was not fun without a parts manual but ultimately the car turned out beautifully and was a show winner many times and A HUGE AMOUNT OF FUN TO DRIVE AND SHOW.

All he can remember was that the guy he sold it to lived near White Plains , New York.
