Giotto Bizzarrini is responsible for some of the most beautiful and impressive cars ever built. He worked for Ferrari where he and his team made the 250 GTO, he designed the famous Lamborghini V12 and many others. Bizzarrini also made cars under his own name. The Bizzarrini 5300, P538 and 1900 Europa etc. One of the more recent designs is the 1996 Bizzarrini 2001. |

Sciarola Mid-engined with gearbox behind the American Motors 360 - water-cooled 340hp engine. Gearbox by OTO Melari , the OTO 4mxad 4-speed - OTO 5mxa 5-speed and the OTO 4mxad with Alfa Romeo engine. Topspeed with the 340 engine was 257 km/h. |

Manta by Italdesign This striking beautiful car was Giugiaro's first prototype as an independent designer. The chassis was that of a by Bizzarrini modified Grifo Competizione with a tubular structure. The 400hp Corvette fuel injected engine was moved to the middle of the car just behind the driver and gave the car a topspeed of 330 km/h. |

Little electric city car from 1972. Zele 1000 means Zagato Elettrica 1000 watts. 100 cars were built and they had a price of 850.000 lire. Some technical data: 24 volts - 1000 watts - 8 batteries 160 Ah which could last up to 3 hours - 1,36 cv - 3-speed and a topspeed of 39 km/h ! |
