Iso Millennium Bresso 2002

Like last year the Iso meeting in Bresso was a great success with fans and owners from all over the world. This time they had also arranged the possibility to drive our cars on the airfield where the first pressfotos for the Lele were made.

The Millennium Committee had prepared a whole lot of memorabilia of outstanding quality. Everything is so well organized and good prepared! This is promising for the way the museum is going to look. This museum started as a dream but is becoming a reality in several years.

The Iso Rivolta GT #2

Like last year there were again several interesting ISO's to be seen at the Bresso meeting. This is the Iso Rivolta GT with chassisnumber 2. It looks almost the same as later production cars but it is not. The rear and roofline are different. It makes the car look a little like the Gordon Keeble. Renzo Rivolta wanted more headspace in the rear so the car was changed.

Two Velam Isetta's from France brought to Bresso by their German owner. Velam like BMW had different versions of their little bubblecar.

On the track session

Those lucky enough to have brought their cars to Bresso was given to possibilty to drive their cars at high speed at the Bresso Airport.

Even one of the rarest Isos, an Iso Fidia owned by Theo Schotte from the Netherlands, found its way to Bresso.

Only smiling faces here. The Aeschlimann's from Switserland and their restored Lele and Piero Rivolta in the Rivolta GT driven by Darren Frank.

Bizzarrini Strada & Iso Grifo with Lambo wheels, which look great on this car!

Some impressions made by Flavio Campetti:

The Conti Rivolta

The famous Conti Rivolta. Roberto Ghezzi told Darren Frank that while it was in Piero's possession, it was dropped and damaged. Roberto had it repaired, and it will now reside in the new Iso Museum under the custody of the Iso Millennium Committee. (Info Darren Frank / photo Hans Krahenbuhl) More photos
