An interesting story - Do you know this car?

Dear mr. vandergeld,
In the sixties and early seventies I had a small country garage in North Wales.

A dealer from the Manchester area would, from time to time, leave a car on my forecourt for me to try to sell. On one occasion he left an Iso GT, which incidently I did not find a customer for and he took it back. As far as I can remember the car was Silver with red interior, and was a V8 auto with righthand
drive. While the car was with me I phoned the previous owner at the address in the logbook and spoke to the lady of the house who confirmed that she and her
husband had in fact owned the car and when new had travelled to Italy to collect it. The couple were infact Lord and Lady Lucan and I spoke to Lady Lucan about mid to late 1974. I later was to learn from a widely reported murder case that the couple in question were at this time seperated and on the night of 7th November1974 someone murdered Lady Lucans childrens nanny . You will probably recall the case and will remember that Lord Lucan dissappeared that night and
has not been seen or heard of since. I recalled all this recently when I found in a draw the hornpush from that car, it became detached while the car was with me, put in the draw and forgotten. If you are interested I found an account of the Lucan caseon the web, http://www.ladylucan.co.uk/index1.htm & http://www.lordlucan.com/ . Iwonder if the car still exists and if it has had a new hornbutton.
yours faithfully,
