Iso Grifo 90

Text: press release from PMPR about the 1993 Grifo prototype

Caro Automobilista:

IsoRivolta - Una Grande Tradizione Che Torna

Once again the IsoRivolta and Grifo nameplates will grace the body of an ultra-high-performance coupe. After an absence of nearly two decades from the marketplace, Piero Rivolta is preparing to launch an all-new Grifo that promises to redefine the Gran Turismo concept. The 1993 IsoRivolta Grifo boasts a unique blending of European styling, luxury and chassis engineering with American powertrain technology.

The history of Iso has been founded on Renzo and Piero Rivolta's passion to build GT cars that combine elegant design and superior road holding with engines that deliver outstanding performance and real world reliability and durability. The 1993 Grifo reflects that passion.

Piero Rivolta is president of the new IsoRivolta, s.r.l., Modena Italy. He's the man who guided Iso through its most prolific years (1966 - 1972) and the man behind the new IsoRivolta Grifo. Mr. Rivolta is a resident of Sarasota, Florida and available for interviews.

As the new Grifo gets closer to production, more details and photography will be made available.
