We hit the bull's-eye again
(the Isigo sales slogan)
In the Italian Magazine "Gente Motore"they called it "Ideal per lo shopping"and "comoda e semplicissima". Well, it's ideal for those who still haven't been able to pass the drivers exam. You don't need a license and it will go 85 km/h, 45 km/h for the diesel version. It looks rather nice too, with the top down, for a microcar. In France, Spain and Holland these little cars (most built in France by Ligier etc.) are becoming very popular and let's hope Iso will export the Isigo to these countries as well.
The test drivers of "Gente Motore"were pleased with the car and talked about a brilliant engine and how easy it was to keep up with the other traffic. Something they could not say about the other microcars they had tested before the Isigo. Their conclusion was that it is not only a car for teenagers. It can be very useful in a (Italian) city too, close to the beach and even in mountains (it climbs slopes up to 30%). They gave it 5 stars out of six. Ottimo! I wonder how they rate a Ferrari?
This is
the chassis with the Lombardini engine.

Iso City 1999 In Geneva (1999) Iso had an Iso City on their stand. It is designed by Zagato. Perhaps Iso could go retro like Rover and create a modern version of the Isetta. This is one of the most expensive and popular classic mini-cars today.
Iso is serious about their microcar! The cars are shown to the public on several carshows and reactions of both press and public are positive.
