Isomoto - Isoscooter
The Furetto
| The Furetto was the first scooter that left the Isothermos factory. It was not an Iso design but bought as a prototype with the license to built it. Production started in 1948. In the brochure it was called the perfect scooter but soon production was ceased because of its unreliability. The story goes that in an angry mood Rivolta had some brand new ones buried under his offices. |

Soon after the Furetto
came the Isoscooter with a 125 cc engine. It produced
6.7hp and the topspeed was 75 kph. It was advertised in a
Swiss brochure as the best scooter with incomparable
advantages. It was certainly much better as the Furetto
and sold very well. Iso always used nice drawings to promote their products. |

The Isomoto & scooter 125 - 175
| The Isomoto's and
scooters sold well and not only in Italy. This is the
Spanish brochure of the Scooter and the Moto (which was
10 kph faster because of its lower weight). In those days there were Iso clubs and Iso club meetings in Italy and even today the Iso motorcycle and scooter are popular as classics. There is still a very active club in Italy. |

Isoscooter 150 -1959
| Iso, the scooter
that makes more friends! These are pictures from a Dutch Iso brochure from 1959. This Iso had a 1 cylinder 145cc 4 stroke engine which delivered 6 hp at 5000 rpm. It had 4 gears and 1 reverse and you could say that third acted like an overdrive (15 - 50 km/u). It was a very beautiful scooter. |

Isomoto 250
| The Iso 250 looked like a little Harley Davidson and was a very beautiful motorcycle. It had a 236cc 2 piston 10hp engine. You could buy it in many colors, even a green that made it look like a military bike. | ![]() |
Isomoto 500

This was Iso's biggest motorcycle and its engine looked a little like those of a BMW. Its design was very mature and clean. It had a 500cc 4 stroke 2 cylinder engine. |
