Proposals for tables

Furniture and architecture define the function of a space. Groups of people gather in different kinds of spaces. The piece Proposals for Tables consists of three tables that by their form enable a certain kind of use. They organise the social interaction within these groups.

Table I of Proposals for Tables has been in temporary use in different exhibitions / events; the front hall of W139 in Amsterdam, in the Fabriek (Factory) in Eindhoven and in the council chamber of the Utrecht council during the Utrecht salon in 1998.
