Streethights on the Lekdike

Of al buroughs making up the hoogheemraadschap (polder board), one recognisable place has been chosen. The paving has been placed in the same hight in comparison to the river in the hexagonal cylinders. At high tide it shows at what hight the waterlevel would be in different squares and steets if there had been no dikes. The paving is identical to the one used in those squares and streets. At low tide you can walk over them and experience the differences in hight.
