Two benches with a rotating oval table between them. The table rotates once every two hours; a cup of coffee or a magazine will be back in the same position after two hours. If the table is placed at right angles to the benches, the table will have two reading places at either end. If the table is placed parallel to the benches it functions as a central table for a group of people. The speed of the rotation is so low that it doesn’t become apparent untill after a while that it’s actually moving. One might say that if people notice that the table is rotating, the waiting time at the council department has increased too much.
