Walking tour Hollandse Waterlinie
(waterline walk)

This tour follows along the dutch waterline, an historical line of defence using the possibility of flooding parts of the land.

In 2004 the marking sticker has been placed along the entire route of the waterline walk (wandelplatform-law)

A series of elements that can be placed along the walk to demarcate the route. This series contains among other items: viewers, blocks for tying shoelaces, step overs, bridges, poles, a place to drink water and a place for mapreading. As a unifying element, all objects not only have a marking sticker, but also a vertical recess in which a blue line shows how high the waterlevel would be in the eventuality of a flooding of the waterline.
