This baroque palace is built around 1725 in order of J.W.Gallas. The frescos in the beautiful stairwell (photograph left) of this palace are from Carlo Carlone and the Heracles statues at the entrance of this palace (photograph right) are made by Matthias Braun.
This palace used to be a record office (city archives).
In the palace is a small theatre where Beethoven played his own work.
