Lighthouse Clock Tower

It´s a nice orientation point in the Fort, a Victorian building (1857), which is designed by the wife of a British governor. The meaning was to bring some punctuality to the Ceylon civil servants.
Ten years later there was put a lamp on the top of the Clock Tower and it served as a lighthouse till late fifties of 20th century.
