Reports
Freshwater and terrestrial gastropods as climatological indicators for Late Miocene lake deposits.
M.Sc. Thesis on the derivation of paleoecological and paleoclimatological signals from the taxonomy of lacustrine and terrestrial gastropods. Ratios of different groups of species as well as species assemblages derived from cluster analysis show stratigraphic shifts, which can be interpretated as variations in the humidity/temperature signal.

Deposition and rhythmicity of deep-water sediments, Zumaia, Spain.
Report about (cyclo)stratigraphical research on Maastrichtian deposits of (hemi)pelagic origin. Detailed stratigraphical measurements showed a, previously unnoticed, discontinuity and made it possible to determine more accurately the age of geologic events, e.g. biostratigraphy could be determined very accurately this way.
