21 november, 2004 Specially for the Dutch users of Raduga or radio automation systems I wrote this program to use the news broadcast of another station. It has a
software detection for end of news When using it with Raduga the program starts the new play list or starts the next item in the list. It also works with Winamp and OTSDJ.
Version 1.2.7 (20-11-2004) can be downloaded at ROnAR News Setup After installation you can switch language from Dutch to English. |
ROnAR News is a small program which opens and closes a audio Line input at the predefined days and times
The minimum requirement for the program is a Pentium 266 for a good end of news detection.
Detection is done based on the difference between the
Right and the left channel.
Every 0.1 second the channels are compared with each other. Sensitivity can be
controlled in the configuration screen.

Also a delay can be configured so the end of news tune is
not heard. It's also possible to extend the signal.
This function needs a stronger pc, because the delay is done by the software.
In the Edit menu the language can be switched from Dutch
to English.
Also the Auto start function can be found here.
The configuration screens looks like this:

When using Raduga, this program must be started from
within ROnAR News.
Raduga can not be found in the running objects table, so a currently running
version can't be detected and controlled.
When Raduga has been started from within the application
you can choose for a Play or Next command.
The program can be tested for 30 days with full
functionality.
After this period you'll need a license number to release it.
Costs for a license is € 25,- ex b.t.w.
