A lot of people use LaTeX to typeset their documents. By using LaTeX's "picture" environment, drawings can be made. The picture environment offers several basic shapes like lines, ellipses, vectors, Bezier curves and so on. The drawings have to be generated by writing LaTeX code. The drawback of this is that the resulting drawing can only be observed after compilation of the LaTeX document. Therefore, several programs provide the possibility to create drawings using a graphical user interface. The LaTeX code can be generated by converting the drawn objects in the graphical user interface into LaTeX code.
LaTeXPiX is of of the LaTeX drawing tools which works under all Microsoft Windows platforms. It supports both the EEPIC as well as the PGF environment (rampup of the pstricks also). Some enhanced features of the program with respect to other LaTeX drawing tools are:
