Paul van den Nieuwenhof

Paul van den Nieuwenhof (born Eindhoven, The Netherlands, 1960) makes so-called slow sculptures. These are constructed installations that show slow movements. These movements are only visible after a certain amount of time. The preparatory drawings of his installations are used by the artist for two-dimensional mixed-media compositions and/or oil-paintings that, apart from having a big emotional impact, show the spectator the hidden world of the creation.

Paul van den Nieuwenhof lives and works in Den Bosch, The Netherlands and in Rome, Italy.
