Living beings operate by different principles than inert (dead) matter. Yet, by system theory, it is possible to understand how the internal degrees of freedom that play a crucial role in living beings are already in many respects well understood. The mathematics of steady state systems, of Variational Sets, of Singularity Transformation and Systemic Integration can be described in terms of the singularities of the system. Te complementarity between phasics and physics, which is addressed in cosmology, is seen in our living body as the duality between or body and our psyche. The information processing of the psyche operates by the same principles as the transformations in body manifestation as described in embryology. The descriptions of physics (as designed for closed systems) can be understood in terms of phasics (for transcendental systems) and thereby be understood to me the same in meta-physics (of open systems). The system stability can thereby be described in the same terms, which implies that the 1^st order system corresponds with the systems state i.e. the body. The 2^nd order system corresponds with the variational system i.e. the physiology and the mind. The 3^rd order system is that of the system stability/transcendence, a.k.a. the soul. The 4^th order system refers to the transcendental system i.e. spirit. The 3^rd order system is thus the pivot of the local system definition within its changing context, and thereby the crucial factor for system integration, and healing.
