there are several types of
magick that can be used and one of them is candle magick.
what is important here is not really the size or shape of the candle, normal
candles from any store will do great, but the color of it. each color has its
own symbolic meaning.
white
- contains all colors and because of this can be substituted for any color,
cleansing, clair voyance, healing, awareness
yellow
- intelligence, helps with learning, creativity
brown
- earth, balance, concentration
gold
- the god, good luck, fortune, happiness
pink
- love, caring, friendship, understanding
red
- health, passion, love, power, speed, active, courage, fire, anger
silver
- the goddess, neutrality, encourage stability
purple
- for accomplishing great goals, meditation, success, ambition, power
indigo
- clears the mind, deep meditation, neutralize anothers magick
blue
- wisdom, protection during sleep, astral projection, relaxation, harmony,
flowing
green
- money, fertility, success, good luck, prosperity, counteracts greed and
jealousy
grey
- neutralizes negative influences, brings silence, neutral color, for
sleeping
orange
- justice, passion, for increasing energy
black
- to banish evil and unwanted influences, use in great rituals, against
negativity
so
how do we modify this ritual to your needs..
for example i have a girly friend which i haven't seen for a long, long time.
then i could take a pink candle representing friendship and this girly friend.
the white candle will represent myself. i will place the two candles far away
from each other on my altar and each day i will light the candles for a while
and meditate. each day after, i will move the pink candle closer to the white.
on the 9th day the pink candles flame will touch the white candles and i will
say a spell like: 'again we meet (fill in name), in friendship, again, so mote
it be'. and let the candles burn.
so if you wished money you can use a green candle representing money instead of the pink candle. well...you get the idea!
