Azur-Alpes

Europe Summer

French Provence & Alpes

This guide is a description of a trip which is to be flown in Europe, in the south of France, in the French Provence and the Alpes during summer-time. A little bush flying is emphasized here, flying from and to airfields hidden in the landscape, a mountainous and forestall area.

You will start the tour at the Mediterranean coast and fly northwards through the Provence area. From there you will head for the French Alpes, cross them, return via the Swiss and Italian Alpes back to the Provence and finally back to the Mediterranean coast. You will fly through valleys, over lakes, mountains, following landmarks as rivers, roads, railways etc. using the descriptions in the package and for instance a road map to find your way. Thereby enjoying the southern and eastern French landscape around you.

You will visit 10 airfields, a mix of both regional and rural. Weather-conditions are miscellaneous.
