The signal from the cd-player runs to the Audio Control Epicentre. This device reproduces the low frequency information that is filtered out or mixed down during the recording process of a CD. This means more bass........louder bass with speaker protection. It also has a subsonic filter set at 33 Hz.
After the Epicentre the signal goes to a Pioneer DSP processor. This unit is running in standard mode. It has a sound field control, parametric equalizer, position selector, crossover and auto-equalizing function.
The sound is boosted by three amplifiers:
One MTX Pro 752 at 70 Wrms/channel running a Marathon composet at the front of the car. This composet has 6.5 inch woofers and titanium tweeters.
One Rockford Fosgate Punch 55.2 at 58Wrms/channel running two Marathon 6x9's at the rear.
One MTX Thunder 225 HQ at 400Wrms bridged running two Marathon MB 12.10 subwoofers in a forty liter sealed sub enclosure.
