Leiden not just a city

The city Leiden characterized itself by the typical old-Dutch sphere.
Leiden has, after Amsterdam the largest old innercity of Holland filled with numerous canals and thousands of monuments.
In the native town of Rembrandt, Jan Steen, Jan van Goyen, de Zangeres zonder Naam and many other famous celebrities ther are stil little cosy shopping-quarters, a dozen almshouses and beautiful churches.
In the 13 musea lies more than the half of the Dutch cultural and national heritage to be seen.
Shopping is lovely in the authentic atmosphere, after which a visit to one of the many little terraces is an outing itself.
Next to the other possibilities Leiden offers for going out.
