Cattery Bifröst

Norwegian Forestcats

WELCOME TO CATTERY BIFRÖST,
a small cattery with only one litter a year

The name of the cattery stems from Scandinavian mythology. Bifröst is the bridge built by the gods between their place of residence, Asgard, and that of mankind. This bridge was called Bifröst and it can be seen as the rainbow.

Not only the standard of the Norwegian Forestcat (the bonestructure and the physical appearance) is important to me in breeding this beautiful cat, the character of the cat is important as well.
All my cats are very friendly, both to one another and to people. They live in a large renovated farmhouse and, when I am at home, they can play outside and climb trees in a large fenced garden.

I have six cats, five Norwegian Forestcats and one domestic shorthair. On the following pages you will find more than 500 pictures of them.
