Countries

Tops can lie in one of the countries:
Andorra, Austria, France, Germany, Liechtenstein, Italy, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland

If tops (allmost allways passes) lie on the border the 2 countries are mentioned. Possible combinations are:
Pyrenees: France/Spain, Andorra/Spain
Alps: France/Italy, Switzerland/Italy, Austria/Italy, Austria/Germany
Jura: France/Switzerland

Mountains and Regions

All tops lie in a mountain system or on an island. Most mountains systems and the islands are split up into regions.
A region is a mountain sub-system (like the Dolomites), a province (administrative region) or another smaller part. Each region is part of 1 country.
