Kees Bakker is a multi talented instrumentalist, not afraid
of singing as well. As former member of 'Unreel' he plays wooden flutes, whistles and uillean pipes.
Is the most popular and handsome spoons-, bones-, eggs- and bodhràn-player in Holland and therefore
he teaches Irish percussion. He is known as 'The one and only Original Abo Kees' while blowing the
authentic self made Dutcheridoo out of wood from a tree in the 'Bosjes van Poot' Den Haag. |

Geert Janssen is the youngest member of the
soon to be 'Simply Grey' band. Playing guitar he travels to Belfast to organise 'break away' trips for
youngsters from most deprived areas. Organising folk concerts and searching for fellow musicians he
found the 'Simply Green' boys in the middle of a flying Sunday-afternoon session. He's built a fine
repertoire of Irish and Scottish songs. Sings with his eyes closed, always searching for his microphone.

Anand Passchier, on fiddle
and mandolin, started as a classical guitarist, but found that too lonely and got lost in Irish music,
or was it Guinness? Has the best looks of the band and is known for his most enthusiastic and vigorous
fiddle playing and the romantic touch on his mandolin. Sings 'love will you marry me' and plays louder
if there's beautiful woman around. In his spare time Anand is a 'close-to-professional' boat-builder
with large expertise in up to 10 ft tenders. |

Jeroen van Wijk took up classical violin
for starters. Once been into an Irish session he lost his heart and dedicated his life (apart from his
lovely wife and two boys) to learn the thousand and one dance-tunes from O' Neill's 'Music of Ireland'.
Is well known for his delicate fiddling and subtle harmonies on his fiddle and his vigorous
bodhràn-playing and always finds an extra voice when we sing in close harmony. |
