Archeon 13th century weekend

On 28 and 29 July 2001, an international 13th century weekend was held at the Archeon park in The Netherlands. Living history groups from Holland, Flanders, France, Norway, Germany, and Italy attended, focussing on the 13th century or the early 14th century. All participating groups were small, but with high authenticity standards. There were nearly 100 persons who brought their tents, kit, and good spirits. It was the first and largest event for this period ever, and we all think it was a great success! There will probably be another event of this type in the summer of 2002.
