My legal addiction.

Whenever I have free time, but don't feel like writing, I'll play coputer games like Civilizations III and now IV, or Heroes IV, or GuildWars.  I値l play those games for some time, or actually for months.  Some games I back to maybe once a year and play them again for some time.  But there is one game I値l go back to again and again.  Sure, I値l get tempted by other games, but once the new is gone, I値l go right back to: Diablo II Lord of Destruction.

If you don't know the game, here is a link where you can download a demo game of Diablo II.  http://www.blizzard.com/diablo2/demo.shtml

Mind you, this is a demo of Diablo II, and not of Diablo II with the expansion pack Lord of Destruction.  With the expiation pack several things change for the better.  More stash size, more characters, better graphics, but the demo is enough to give you a first impression of the game.

Here you will find the official site on the game by Blizzard (the creators of the game.)

These are two sites with very useful information, I can't really tell you which one I like more.

And lastly, is it cheating or not?

One thing about Diablo is that you come across a lot if items.  Now, which one to save?  Eventually you run out of space, and when you have several sets you are trying to complete, than space is at a premium.  This site gaves you a program that allows you to save more.  You can't cheat with this by changing character stats, but what you can do (if the game is not playing) is access your stash and put things you saved there into a stash created by the program.  By doing that you have a virtually unlimited amount of space.  Of course, you do have to leave the game to put something in the simulated stash or take it out.  But I think that this is really great for putting parts of sets that you find.  And once you have found enough parts of a set, than you can put those parts back in your character stash.

And just to prove that I知 addicted I have written some guidelines.  Note that all of them are in different stages of completion depending on where I am in the game with what character.
